This LIONEL 21788 MISSILE LAUNCH TRAIN SET was first introduced in 1959. This set includes: a #44 Missile Launcher Locomotive Engine which is equipped with four missiles, a #3419 Helicopter Launch Car with a launching helicopter, a #6844 Flatcar with Missile, a #6823 Flatcar with Missiles and Cradles with elastic tie-downs, a #6814 Stretcher Caboose with oxygen tanks and figure and a #943 Exploding Ammo Dump. It has the following features: With the TrainMaster Command Control system the #44 locomotives missiles can be launched with the push of a button on the CAB-1 Remote Controller and the missiles can be launched to destroy the exploding ammo dump. It also features: Electrocouplers, Metal frames, Headlights, a Postwar plaque, a Pullmor Motor, Magnetraction and Die-cast Metal Trucks.
