This LIONEL #14005 456R OPERATING COAL RAMP is designed to work with a 3456 Operating Hopper (not included).  After backing the 3456 Hopper up the ramp and coupling it to an ElectroCoupler in the 456R’s end tower, engage the unit’s electromagnet and the coal falls through the bottom of the open hopper bay doors into the bin below.  Shipped with metal support posts, the 456R bin can be attached to the 397 Operating Coal Loader (not included) and dumped from above. The 456R will accommodate both O and O27 track. It also features: a Die-cast bottom ramp frame, Extruded aluminum ramp, Stamped metal base and handrail stanchions, Nickel plated brass handrails, Nickel plated steel posts for using dumping bin with 397 Operating Coal Loader, Detailed molded support towers and bin, ElectroCoupler, 2 Electromagnets, Exterior light illuminates when hopper is coupled, a Bag of coal, it works with all versions of the 3456 Operating Hopper, and a 456C Controller is included.
